Congratulations to the Accel Physio Major Bantam squad as they will represent Nova Scotia at the 2018/19 Bantam Atlantics in St. Margaret's. -- The ACCEL PHYSIO Major Bantam Hockey Club represents players from Halifax Minor Hockey Association and has been a member of the NSMBHL since its inception. Our club continues to enjoy fantastic sponsorship by Accel Physiotherapy and Sports Performance Centre. Led by Karen Decker and her team, Accel Physio has been a proud supporter for several seasons and has also provided trainer and therapy services to our team during this time. We also receive outstanding financial support and assistance from Headline Promotional Products and Bounty Print. Our team finished the season in 2nd place in the NSMBHL this past season with a record of 28 wins, 4 losses and a shootout loss. After defeating the Kings Mutual Wildcats in the play-offs, ACCEL PHYSIO ended up in 2nd place at the Provincial Championships losing in the finals in OT to the Gulls 2-1. The team also participated in the Monctonian and Ice Jam tournaments and enjoyed an exhibition road trip early in the season where they played the Moncton Hawks and Dieppe Flyers. Our team takes great pride in the volunteer work that we have performed in the community by hosting our annual Pink in the Rink and Children’s Wish games along with raising money to support several needy families at Christmas. We are also proud of our contributions to the Parker Street Food Bank during their Christmas meal drive.
